Is the year a wonderful man that we loved and admired passed away.
our Dad.
He had a heart of gold and he was loved by all and he will truly be missed .We know he is in peace in Heaven with our Mom .
Rest in Peace DAD-We will meet again!
He loved dogs and we credit him for sharing dogs with us in our youth!

Adventures of Taboo and Owner Madeleine
My jogging buddy Taboo on the trails & road .
This last year Taboo and I have traveled many a road and trail covering miles and miles of distance.
Together we have won an achievement award
Though is says only my name I could not of done it without Taboos endurance & company.
We together have been awarded
with
The across the states program.
We have covered enough miles to win the coast to coast award.
Recently I trained with Taboo on rough trails long distances daily to be ble to run the TABLE MOUNTAIN ULTRA50-K 31 miles trail race- Covering that distance on the pacific crest trail.
3800 elevation gain and 1200 decline.
It is a rugged race
Taboo motivated me to train
I was able to complete it! My 1st 31 miler

It is the bond between owner and dog that can move mountains.
They truly are mans best friend.

VISIT CASCADE KENNEL
BOTH WANTED TO PURCHASE PUPPIES FROM CASCADE TO IMPORT BACK INTO RUSSIA.
WE FELT HONORED & HUMBLED BY THERE COMMENTS THAT THEY WERE HAPPY TO SEE THAT CASCADE HAD WHAT THEY CALLED
"REAL ALASKAN MALAMUTES"
THE SIZE AND STRENGTH & BEAUTY THEY LOVED AND WANTED IN RUSSIA!
THEY WERE VISITING OLYMPIA WA FOR THE 2008 AMCA NATIONALS.
BOTH HAVE SHOWN THERE ALASKAN MALAMUTES IN RUSSIA AND EUROPE.
BOTH ARE EXTREMELY EXPERIENCED WITH THE BREED AND KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE AFTER.
THEY WATCHED THE WEIGHT PULLING EVENT.
WHERE CASCADES BADGER & CASCADES TABOO BOTH WON THERE AMCA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
BADGER GOT MOST WEIGHT PULLED OVER ALL THE DOGS !
WE ARE HAPPY TO REPORT THAT 3 CASCADE OFFSPRING RESIDE IN RUSSIA WITH 2 WONDERFUL FAMILIES !

Taboo is my running buddy & we have traveled alot of miles both on paved roads backroads trails & wilderrness roads.
We have seen so many wild animals- It is awesome to see them flash by-
We recently ran 13 miles on Trapper Creek Trail

Gifford Pinchot National Forest .At the look out point you could see 4 mountains it is one of the most scenic views anywhere on earth!
Taboo did great !She is so smooth and never gets tired .What a girl!
She sure likes that scent of Elk or Deer it drives them wild.
On trails hikes always keep them on a Lead or Flexi.
They may take off after a Deer /Elk scent & they may not come back for hours once they get on the scent.
Alaskan Malamutes love to run work and go so take them!
